The school will reopen on Monday 5th January.
The PA are holding a cake sale fundraiser on Friday 17th in the school hall. The class schedule is outlined below - parents and guardians are welcome to join at their childs' class time/s.
We are asking 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th classes to bake their favourite goodies (5th classes don't need to bake - they may be called upon at a later stage in the year!)
Just a couple of reminders:
- old cereal boxes are great for transporting baked goods into school, but if you are using a container that you would like to be returned to you, please put your child's name and class number clearly on the container
- if you would like your child to bring some baked goodies home it might be wise to give them an extra lunch box or similar container for their cake sale shopping
- please don't send in your child with large denomination notes- small notes or coins only please. As well as cakes, there will be novelty stationery, a lemonade stand and a children's raffle
- this is a NUT FREE event- please ensure no nuts are used in any of the baking. Gluten/dairy free items need to be pre-packaged and clearly labelled as being allergen free - they will be kept separate.
- if you can't attend the event please consider purchasing raffle tickets online at pjppashop.com- €5 for 3 strips. Tickets can be purchased up to 7pm Thursday 16th.
All funds raised are going towards transforming our school yard.
Thank you for your support
Kind regards

We are approaching our Anti-Bullying Week soon!
As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and respectful school environment, we are implementing the new Bí Cineálta procedures, along with updated Anti-Bullying measures.
These changes place an even stronger focus on:
Promoting kindness, respect, and inclusion across the school community.
Preventing and addressing all forms of bullying, including online behaviour.
The three types of bystanders and being a 'Good Bystander'.
Supporting pupils’ wellbeing and ensuring their voices are heard.
Strengthening reporting, monitoring, and follow-up procedures.
We will be working with pupils through assemblies with the VP, lessons, activities, and discussions to ensure they understand these changes. We also encourage you, as parents, to talk with your child about kindness, respect, and standing up against bullying.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us build a positive and safe learning environment for every child.
