Well done Room 4 - we won!!! :) We were delighted to find out that we won the 5th class "Design a Door Competition" for Math's Week! We had lots of fun creating and designing our 'punny' maths door!
We had a very special visitor in school this week - The Sam Maguire Cup made a return to Pope John Paul's!!!
We learned about The Maya Civilisation in History and created these colourful Mayan Masks in art
We visited the local library where we met the author Alan Nolan. He spoke to us about his books, what inspires his stories, how to create characters and he even showed us how to draw some of his illustrations!
We learned how to draw Pokemon characters in art....the end results were fantastic!
