Easter is a major part of God's big rescue plan. It shows us how much Jesus loves us and is one of the most exciting parts of God's story. In fact, you can find it a few times in the Bible. Here are two places to read the story: Mark 14 - 16 and John 13 - 21.
Part of God's story is the last supper. This was the last meal Jesus was going to have with his disciples before he died on the cross. That night, Jesus taught them how to act like him, how to help others and how to remain close to Him.
On Palm Sunday, we remember the time Jesus entered Jerusalem--and everybody started praising him! This was even prophesied many years before in Zechariah 9:9. You can read about Palm Sunday in Matthew 21:1-11, Mark 11:1-11, Luke 19:28-44, and John 12:12-19. Check out more videos (and other cool stuff) at www.CrossroadsKidsClub.net
Zacchaeus was a tax collector who had no friends because he took people's money to make himself rich. Jesus showed him love, and it changed his life. When Zacchaeus realized that Jesus loved him even though he had messed up, he wanted to show that kind of love to others.
God makes a promise to Abraham. God always keeps his promises, but sometimes we have to wait for them. You can read all about what happened to Abraham in Genesis 12-21. Check out more videos (and other cool stuff) at www.CrossroadsKidsClub.net
Moses was chosen by God to deliver the Israelites from slavery, but he didn't believe he could do it because he didn't realize he had a special place in God's family. Finally, he chose to trust that God would take care of him and lead him. You can find this story in Exodus 2-4.
John the Baptist was a man who prepared people for Jesus' rescue and taught them to follow him.
