Events & Fundraisers

Some of the Activities / Events that have been organised by the PA over recent years include:


  • Collaborative Art Initiative - Dream Believe Achieve Butterfly Art Piece.  Funded and co-ordinated by the PA involving all students, teachers and staff. Click Here to have a look.
  • Feet First Fridays/ Non-Uniform days/ €1 fundraiser
  • Gibney’s Wine Night – all proceeds from tickets-sales go to the school
  • Children’s Christmas Raffle
  • 2nd Hand Uniform sale
  • Cake Sale
  • Christmas Cards fundraiser
  • Jingle Bell Walk – usually over 500 kids, parents, friends and animals join in on this fun festive walk to school
  • Receptions for Communion, Confirmation & Graduation.
  • Financial Contribution towards the 6th Class Graduation year book and T-shirts.
  • Funding new sports tops for PJP GAA, Soccer, Athletic teams.
  • Funding Athletics team bus to Santry school games
  • Funding new Sports kit for teams – e.g. footballs, training cones, bottles, etc.
  • Funding new equipment for the school Sensory room
  • Financial Contribution towards upgrade works on the school grounds e,g, yard markings
  • New PA equipment – vases, catering equipment, vacuum cleaners for usage at receptions plus payment contribution towards a deep cleaning of the kitchen
  • In collaboration with Pat O’Farrells, the PA supplied new Basketball strip for girls and boys’ teams
  • New Equipment for school PALS programme (Playground activity Leaders) in the school yard – cones, skipping ropes, yard games, etc.
  • Road Safety Awareness Campaigns
  • Communications - via Class Reps, School email, Website, PA Newsletter and PA Facebook page.
  • PA is a member of the NPC (National Parents Council) and provide NPC event and survey information which may be of interest to PJP parents throughout the year.
