Fingers Crossed for Nuala!
The children in room 29 love the weather! In fact , they are slightly obsessed. The favourite part of our day is when we get to watch News 2Day . The children love to watch Nuala Carey on the weather forecast. The children are such fans that they decided to write letters to Nuala asking her about her job and some wacky weather facts. We have our fingers crossed that maybe she might write back to us....

The River Shannon
This week , we've been learning all about the course of a river. We have learned about meanders, an estuary, the mouth of a river, tributaries, the source of the river etc. We also spoke about the famous Ardnacrusha hydroelectric dam.
Norway
We have been learning all about life in Norway. We have learned all about oil rigs, Fjords, The Gulf Stream , Hammerfest , The Winter Olympics and the weather/climate in Norway . We think it is a very interesting place.
