Grandparents Day In Room 21!
Friday, 26 January 2024 was a special day for all in Pope John Paul II's - Grandparents Day! The children in the school were delighted to welcome their grandparents into their school to see their wonderful work and the fun places they have to be creative.
Room 21 was buzzing with excitement as all the children in Mr. O'Brien's Second Class waited for their wonderful grandparents (and a few mums too!) to visit.
The children were delighted to show their grandparents their artwork, where they sat in their classroom and their cubbyholes for their books.
Sophie, William and Eva recited the poem "Grandad" (apologies again to the Grannies) and received a lovely round of applause. We finished our visit with a group photo and all agreed it had been a lovely event!
