Sunflowers by Room 19
The children learned about Vincent Van Gogh. Inspired by his famous painting Sunflowers the children drew their own sunflower and added colour using oil pastels.
Our Abstract Art
The children examined some examples of abstract art painted by the famous artist Wassily Kandinsky. They then painted their own concentric circles using warm and cool colours.
Today the children enjoyed learning about the primary colours. Everyone had lots of fun mixing these colours and learning what new colours they were able to make!
