This week (20/1/20) parents will be receiving an invitation to join Seesaw.  Seesaw is a useful way for you to view some of the work your child is doing in class.  It is a type of ePortfolio.  As we progress through the year we will be adding more to our ePortflios.

The children had great fun during their Hour of Code today! A big thank you to Cara's Dad, Peter, who taught the children coding using Minecraft today.

The children enjoyed persuading teacher not to give a spelling test on Thursday last week! We also had great debating on whether homework should be given or not! Congratulations to Leon, Séamus and Anna who won the debate for homework!

Today Garda Enda came to visit!  He told us how dangerous Halloween can be and how to stay safe.  He told us about his weapons and let us dress up in his police uniform.

Postcards as Gaeilge to our pen pals

This is a selection of the postcards we sent to our pen pals in 5th Class in Navan Educate Together. We received ours from them the other day and there was great excitement!

Cycling

We started our cycling today!  It was great fun.
