Some very talented Gymnasts in Room 2 hard at work in PE over the past few weeks.
12/02/2015 We have been exploring Length in Maths this week. We conducted a Length study using a variety of instruments such as rulers, measuring tape, meter sticks and trundle wheels. We measured various objects and things within our classroom and also a variety of distances within the school. Check us out hard at work!
Class Trip to Starbucks! The children worked extremely hard to earn 3000 class Dojo points and a reward of a trip to Starbucks in Malahide Village :)

During November the fifth class have been busy participating in a cycling course as part of their PE. The children have been having lots of fun learning about road safety with Sam, playing games, learning new skills and even doing some drawing with Sam in those rainy days. All the children have been working really hard and have thoroughly enjoyed the cycling experience, eagerly anticipating Thursday afternoon to see what exciting new cycling skills they would learn next. Even Ms Whyte got involved one week getting on one of the bikes, helmet on ready to go and engage in a game of "follow Ms Whyte". We have learnt many new skills and an abundance of information about road and cycle safety. We can't wait to put our new knowledge and skills into practise when we are out and about on our bikes. Halloween in Room 2! Look at our fantastic Halloween costumes....
Garda Enda visits our class. We had a visit from Garda Enda recently where we learnt a lot about his job,what he wears and what it is like to be a Garda. We even got to wear some of his uniform!
