Art

We designed masks for Halloween, using paint, sequins, and excessive amounts of every classroom's (and home's) worst nightmare: GLITTER!

(But the masks looked great!)

We finished our study of The Stone Age by making some clay objects in our Art lesson.

The beautiful art that can be found at the Newgrange site inspired some of the children's designs.

Spirals, circles, chevrons (zig-zags) and arcs were carved into the stones at Newgrange, using flint.

We used soft clay and our pencils.

The results were beautiful.
