A big farewell to Carla who is heading back to Spain this week. We have really enjoyed having Carla in our class this year. She settled really well into school and worked really hard too.
A huge thank you to Carla, her mum, her dad and her sister Sandra for throwing us a fantastic 'Spanish themed' farewell party! There were all sorts of goodies to try! We were spoiled for choice! Thank you very much and I know there are lots of children planning to keep in touch with Carla. We wish you a safe journey back and hope to see you again some day!

A huge thank you to Lauren's Mum who came to the school today to tell us all about what life was like for her growing up in Africa. We were amazed to hear about her school_ imagine they started at 7 and finished lessons before 1! They had no sweet shops and could design their own clothes! It was fascinating to listen to her and we really appreciate it her taking the time to visit us! She even brought in some objects for us to explore!
