Incredible Edibles 2020
Ms. Farelly’s class (2019/2020) took part in the Incredible Edibles healthy eating initiative for primary school pupils and were delighted to receive the news in Term 1 this year that our school has achieved Silver Status based on their fantastic efforts! This great initiative promotes healthy eating and encourages schools to get busy growing carrots, lettuce, potatoes, strawberries, turnips and herbs. Grow packs were supplied to the school containing everything needed to begin growing fruit and vegetables. Even though our last academic year was cut short, students in Ms. Farrelly’s class continued their growing journey at home during school closures. The plants that had been planted at school were brought home by Ms. Farrelly and Ann-Marie (SNA) who took great care of them!
