We are delighted to announce the appointment of Rachel Markey as the new Principal of Pope John Paul II School.
Ms. Markey has a Bachelor of Education Degree in Education and Gaeilge from St. Patrick's College, a Masters Degree in Special Educational Needs also from St. Patrick's College and a Diploma in Education Law from the Law Society of Ireland. She has had a long association with St. Oliver Plunkett School as a pupil and teacher. She currently is a Specialist Lead with the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) working on the Design, Management and Development of its Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Programme for teachers.
Pope John Paul II School welcomes her to her new position which will commence on September 1st.
The entire school community - Board of Management, Teachers, SNAs, Staff and Pupils, wish Rachel every success in her new role as Principal of our school.
