STEM Week Photos

We did lots of fun activities during STEM week! The children in Room 26 made paper helicopters using paper, card, paper clips and sellotape. The children tested the helicopters made from cardboard and paper and discovered that making the helicopters from card worked best. Then the children made a showcase for the paper helicopter experiments to show second class and third class children. Some children had the opportunity to present our experiment to the second and third class children. We had lots of fun testing our helicopters!

The Tallest Tower! The children in Room 26 took part in a school competition to build the tallest tower using only paper and paper clips. Although we didn't win the competition one group did build a tower measuring 1.5 meters tall. Great fun was had by all during this activity!
