The Golden Boot Award

Golden Boot Trophies are awarded to each class level each month.

The winning class will have the most pupils who walked, cycled, parked & strode or who travelled to school sustainably on a Feet First Friday.

These are the no uniform days on the first Friday of each month. Class teachers can find the percentage of pupils who are present that day who travelled in this manner. Pupils from 5th class are monitoring traffic levels outside the school on those days to see if we are making a difference to our usual routine. Pupils from 6th class will collect the information. In the event of a tie, the class with the most number of pupils who walked is the winner!

Mr. Prendergast will announce the winners by lunchtime and the winning class get to keep their trophy until the next winner, so if your class don't win this month, don't give up!

We will get a photo of each winning class with their award for display.
