About Us
Aims of the School
We provide a welcoming atmosphere where each pupil feels accepted in an environment that is both stimulating and secure.
We encourage a high standard from our pupils, both in learning and behaviour and help pupils develop as happy, responsible and confident children. The Christian atmosphere of the school is an important influence in our pupils' lives. Openness towards other cultures and beliefs is also stressed.
Pupils
We cater for Girls & Boys from Second to Sixth Class, including a number of children with special needs.
School Teaching Staff
The school has a principal, 21 mainstream teachers, and a learning support team consisting of 5 teachers which also provides resource teaching as needed. The learning support teachers provide extra help for children who are deemed to have specialized needs in English and Maths. Pupils with specific needs are catered for by 2 resource teachers. Special needs assistants are allocated as the need arises. All of their help runs concurrently with and complementary to the classroom work.
School Non-Teaching Staff
We have two secretaries (one part-time), a caretaker and five cleaning staff.
